A Passion for Young Singles & Married

Anyone reading this blog might first be taken back by the title. What does he mean that he has a passion for young singles and married? Is this guy a creepo? While I am weird in many ways, I am not in those ways.

What I mean by the title is that I have a passion for serving young people. This passion comes from my own story of figuring out things as I have went. When I was in my early 20s, I was finishing up college, looking to go on to work on my Masters, and keep an eye out for a woman to marry. However, what I was not doing was looking for a home to buy. I failed to recognize the value of real estate. I worked, saved money, had no debt, and invested in mutual funds here and there. I lived an ordinary life, but never thought about buying a home.

I end up marrying the love of my life when I was 27 and we bought a home together. We bought an average home with an average loan. There was nothing special to it. But the magic was just beginning. That $200k home soon appreciated in value with the market and now it worth more than $260k. That is $30k gained each year passively while enjoying all the benefits of being home owners. And this is a conservative estimate. I never saw gains like this in the stock market. I was hooked.

However, my problem was that I waited until I was 27 years old to buy. For all those young singles or married couples out there, do not wait. Buy as soon as you can! First, because it will be the best investment you ever made. Second, because your quality of life will increase. Do not wait to buy. Learn from my life and buy as soon as you are able.

Proud New Home Owners!
